Poker has always held a special place in the hearts of Brazilians. Whether it's a lively game among friends on a Friday night or the dedication of a serious player chasing tournaments with substantial prize pools, poker culture has grown enormously in Brazil over recent years. And the 898p was built to be the digital home for this kind of player — with a full-featured platform, tables for every level, and tournaments running every day.
The most popular game in the 898p is, naturally, No-Limit Texas Hold'em. If you've never tried it, you don't know what you're missing: it's the format where every decision counts, where a bluff lands at exactly the right moment, and where solid positional play can be the difference between leaving a winner or going home empty-handed. But unlike other sites, 898p doesn't forget Omaha fans either — both Pot-Limit and Hi-Lo have tables running regularly, drawing an increasingly engaged community.
One of the features players praise most is the tournament structure. The 898p runs a weekly MTT (Multi-Table Tournament) calendar with prize pools reaching R$ 50,000.00 in the Sunday Special, plus daily tournaments with more accessible buy-ins for players looking to grow without risking their bankroll. And the daily freerolls are a gift for newcomers: you enter for free and can still win real money — a great way to get a feel for the platform before making your first deposit.
For those starting from scratch, 898p offers micro-stakes tables — cash games with blinds as low as R$ 0.10 / R$ 0.20, where you can sit down with just R$ 20.00 and start playing for real. This is essential for building your skills without the risk of losing amounts that sting. As you improve, the platform grows with you: there are mid-stakes and high-stakes tables, plus a VIP Table with blinds of R$ 10.00 / R$ 20.00 for players looking for a more intense experience.
Another strong point of the poker at 898p is the interface. The game screen was optimized for mobile without sacrificing the full experience. You can see your cards clearly, track the pot, each player's chip stack, and the action history — all on one screen, with no need to zoom in or dig through menus. It's a smooth experience that makes a real difference when you need to make quick decisions, especially in turbo tournaments where action time is tight.
The rake system at 898p also deserves a mention. Rake is the fee the platform charges on each pot in cash games — and at 898p it is among the most competitive in Brazil, which means players keep more of what they win. For tournaments, the rake is already included in the buy-in and is clearly displayed before registration — no surprises.
Depositing and withdrawing is straightforward. The go-to option for Brazilian players is Pix — instant, fee-free, with funds hitting your account in under 10 seconds. Withdrawals via Pix are processed within 30 minutes. You can also use boleto bancário, credit or debit card, PicPay, Mercado Pago, or TED bank transfer through banks like Nubank, Itaú, Bradesco, and Banco do Brasil. The minimum deposit is R$ 20.00, letting you jump straight into a cash game table.

Small adjustments that make a big difference over the long run
The 898p offers daily freerolls with real-money prize pools. Use them to get familiar with the platform, get a feel for the table pace, and build confidence before putting real money on the line.
A good rule of thumb: never sit at a cash game table with more than 5% of your total bankroll. If you have R$ 400.00, look for tables with a buy-in of up to R$ 20.00. This protects you from the normal variance of the game.
One of the most common beginner mistakes is playing every hand dealt to them. Being selective with starting hands — favoring high pairs, connectors, and suited hands — already puts you ahead of most players at low-stakes tables.
Playing in position — meaning you act after your opponents — is a huge advantage in poker. From late positions (button and CO), you have extra information about what others have done before you decide, which lets you play a wider range of hands with greater confidence.
The 898p provides hand history and basic performance statistics. Reviewing your sessions helps you spot patterns — where you're bleeding chips, which situations lead you to make bad calls — so you can correct them before your next game.
Before sitting down at any table, decide how much you're willing to lose that day. When you hit that limit, walk away — even when tilt is screaming at you to keep going. That discipline is what separates players who improve from those who stay stuck at the same level.
